Job Application

Aquesta és una de les cartes formals que solen hi haure al B2, a més a més, ens pot ser de molta utilitat per proposar la nostra candidatura a alguna feina.

Una estructura basada en Formal Letters podria ser aquesta,

1. Nom i adreça de remitent en la part superior del text , preferiblement a la dreta dalt, i adreça del destinatari a la part oposada d'on fiquem la del remitent.
2. Opening, salutacions, formals com  Dear Sir/Madem quan no coneixem el destinatari i Dear Mr/Mrs/Ms/Miss/Dr i el cognom quan ens adrecem a alguna persona en concret.
3. Opening 2, curt i clar de perquè estem escrivint, utilitzant I am writing to apply for the new position/vacancy/job advertised in your blog/the newspaper on 24 July.
4. Main paragraph, indicant que habilitats fan que jo siga en candidat ideal per al lloc de treball, utilitzant les locucions adequades, I think I would be suitable for this position/vacancy/job as I have relevant experience on..
5. Main paragraph 2,on desenvolupem la informació d'experiencia o coneixements rellevants per a la feina que volem aplicar, As you will see from my CV, I have some relevant experience developing new products owing to the fact that I have worked as a engineer...I have large experience in... I have been managing...I have been studying...allowing me...
6. Main paragraph 3, referencia personal que done val afegit a la candidatura, With reference  to me/my personal qualities , I am  very enthusiatic/hard-working/responsable, futhermore  I am also..
7. Closing remarks, com I attach a full CV , and if you require any further information, I would be happy to provide it...  Please contact me regarding any quires you may have at ....at.com or on the mobile phone ...I would also be a glad to attend an interview at any time convenient to you.
8. Closing, com Yours faithfully, si no coneixem el nom del destinatari ( Madam/Sir) Yours sincerely, si coneixem el nom del destinatari.
